PRIVACY POLICIES - HOTEL ACCOMMODATION.
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (“GDPR”) and its implementing regulations, the Hotel where you have stayed and whose corporate name was provided to you in the basic information given at the time of your Check-In ("Hotel") hereby provides you with detailed information about the various processing of your personal data.
You can find a complete list of the corporate names of the different chain establishments at the end of this document.
Generally, for what purpose will we process your personal data?
- To enable the provision of the contracted services.
- Administrative management of the contracted services.
- Management of information about your reservation prior to your arrival.
- If applicable, to allow the sending of information, offers, promotions, by Hoteles Silken, S.A., also by electronic means, regarding the SILKEN Chain and its various establishments.
- To enable the management of your benefits as a member of the Silken Rewards program.
- Security of property and/or persons through the hotel's video surveillance system.
- To enable the management of the business relationship with clients and/or suppliers.
- To respond to inquiries or suggestions for quality control.
What is the legal basis for processing your data?
- To enable the provision of the contracted services. Contractual compliance.
- Administrative management of the contracted services. Sharing certain data with the chain's establishments to simplify the Check-in process. Legitimate interest.
- Management of information about your reservation prior to your arrival. Contractual compliance.
- If applicable, to allow the sending of information, offers, promotions, by Hoteles Silken, S.A., also by electronic means, regarding the SILKEN Chain and its various establishments. Consent / Art 21.1 LSSI
- To enable the management of your benefits as a member of the Silken Rewards program. Contractual compliance.
- Security of property and/or persons through the hotel's video surveillance system. Legitimate interest.
- To enable the management of the business relationship with clients and/or suppliers. Legitimate interest.
- To respond to inquiries or suggestions for quality control. Legitimate interest.
How long will we keep your data?
Generally, the data provided will be kept for as long as necessary for each of the purposes for which the data is intended. In any case, during the legally established periods for this, in the case of information related to the provision of services. For the time necessary to respond and carry out the corresponding internal follow-up of the suggestion or observation communicated. Regarding the sending of commercial communications by electronic means, indefinitely, until you notify us otherwise.
To which recipients will your data be communicated?
Generally, the only communications foreseen are those legally required (communication of guest data to police authorities according to the Citizen Security Law) and others that may be legally established, for example, to the AEAT. Likewise, communications may be made between the establishment and Hoteles SILKEN, S.A. or other chain establishments to enable the management of the Silken Rewards program, or to simplify the check-in process once you have stayed at one of our establishments. If you have authorized it, your contact data will be communicated to Hoteles Silken, S.A. to enable the sending of communications about Hoteles Silken, S.A. and the other hotels in the chain. What are your rights when you provide us with your data?
As long as the Hotel processes your personal data, you have the right to request:
Access.- The data subject has the right to obtain from the data controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them are being processed, as well as detailed information about certain aspects of the processing being carried out.
Rectification.- The data subject has the right to obtain the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning them or to complete incomplete data.
Erasure.- The data subject has the right to request the deletion of their personal data; in any case, deletion will be subject to the limits established in the governing regulation.
Restriction of processing.- The data subject has the right to request the restriction of processing of their personal data.
Objection to processing.- In certain circumstances and for reasons related to your particular situation, data subjects may object to the processing of their data. The Hotel will stop processing the data unless there are legitimate, compelling reasons or the exercise or defense of possible claims.
Right to data portability.- That is, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to a data controller, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to transmit it to another data controller.

What happens if I do not provide the requested data?
Identification data belonging to the client/user, as well as other contact details and any others that may be required by applicable regulations, are mandatory to declare, and refusal to provide them could make access to the service impossible. The remaining data requested are voluntary, so not providing them will not prevent the establishment of the contractual relationship.
Supervision by control authorities.
If you deem it appropriate, you may request the supervision of the Spanish Data Protection Agency by submitting the corresponding claim. www.agpd.es. C/ Jorge Juan nº 6 28001 Madrid.
Security measures.
The Hotel has adopted the legally required levels of personal data protection security and has installed all means and technical measures within its reach to prevent loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access, and theft of the personal data provided to SILKEN. Nevertheless, the user should be aware that security measures on the Internet are not impregnable.
