In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (“GDPR”), Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights and development regulations, Silken Hoteles, S.A, ("SILKEN") informs all users of the website www.hoteles-silken.com (the "Website") about the processing of their personal data, those provided during access and use of the Website and in their daily relationship with SILKEN.
What is the general purpose for which we will process your personal data?
- To respond to the information request made through the contact section of the Website.
- To also send information by electronic means about SILKEN and the various establishments of the chain, regarding our activities, offers, promotions, and other information that we consider may be of your interest.
- To enable the making and management of your online reservation at any of the chain’s establishments.
- To enable registration and membership in our loyalty program, Silken Rewards, as well as the development of all actions related to membership in the program and described in its legal conditions. In any case, one of the intrinsic benefits of membership in the program is the receipt of electronic communications with offers or promotions exclusive to its members.
- To enable the management of the business relationship with clients and/or suppliers.
To attend to your job application and enable your participation in personnel selection processes of the various chain establishments.
What is the legal basis for processing your data?
- To respond to the information request made through the "Contact" section. The consent given from the request submitted.
- For sending information about SILKEN and the different establishments of the chain. Your consent / art. 21.1 LSSI, in case of electronic communications.
- For the management of online reservations, the execution of the contract.
- Management and membership of our loyalty program, the execution of the contract. Art 21.2 LSSI for sending communications.
- To enable the management of the business relationship with clients and/or suppliers, the execution of the contract.
- To attend to your job application and participate in selection processes, your consent and a legitimate interest in managing the HR of the chain.
How long will we keep your data?
In general, the data provided will be kept for as long as necessary for each of the purposes for which the data is intended.
In any case, during the legally established periods for this, in the case of information related to the provision of services.
For the time necessary to respond and carry out the corresponding internal follow-up of the suggestion or observation communicated.
Regarding the sending of commercial communications via electronic means, indefinitely, until you indicate otherwise.
Regarding selection processes, up to one year after their completion, to allow your call in future processes if necessary.
To which recipients will your data be communicated?
Generally, the communication of your data to third parties outside the Chain is not foreseen unless such communication is essential to carry out any of the processing.
The only communications, aside from those legally established, would be between SILKEN and the different establishments of the chain, provided this is necessary, such as in the case of a reservation (hotel where you will stay), the management of certain aspects of the loyalty program, or the existence of selection processes in any of the establishments.
Aside from the above, third parties, Data Processors, may have access to your data.
What are your rights when you provide us with your data?
As long as SILKEN processes your personal data, you have the right to request:
Access.- The data subject has the right to obtain from the data controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them is being processed, as well as detailed information about certain aspects of the processing being carried out.
Rectification.- The data subject has the right to obtain the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning them or to have incomplete data completed.
Deletion.- The data subject has the right to request the deletion of their personal data; in any case, deletion will be subject to the limits established by the governing regulation.
Restriction of processing.- The data subject has the right to request the restriction regarding the processing of their personal data.
Opposition to processing.- Under certain circumstances and for reasons related to their particular situation, data subjects may object to the processing of their data. SILKEN will cease processing the data unless there are legitimate, compelling grounds or for the exercise or defense of possible claims.
Right to data portability.- That is, you will have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to a data controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit it to another data controller.

Where do we obtain your data?
Your data has been provided by you, your company, or third parties such as travel agencies, reservation centers, etc.
For commercial mailings, data is obtained, with prior consent, from the chain’s establishments where you have stayed or used services.
What happens if I do not provide the requested data?
Identification data belonging to the client/user, as well as other contact data and any others that may be required by applicable regulations, are mandatory to declare, and refusal to provide them could result in the impossibility of accessing the service.
The remaining requested data is voluntary, so not providing it will not prevent the establishment of the contractual relationship.
In the case of selection processes, the processing of your educational and employment CV data will be necessary to assess your suitability for a specific job position.
Supervision by control authorities.

Security measures.
SILKEN has adopted the legally required levels of personal data protection security and has installed all means and technical measures within its reach to prevent loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access, and theft of personal data provided to SILKEN. However, the user must be aware that security measures on the Internet are not impregnable.
