Near Las Canteras Beach

Our hotel in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Silken Saaj Las Palmas, is strategically located, making it an excellent option both for getting around freely by car and for exploring the city center on foot. You can't miss Las Canteras Beach. The hotel is located a 15-minute walk from the iconic beach, taking a pleasant stroll through the unique streets of the island's capital. The area offers a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Right in front of our accommodation, you will find the famous Playa de las Alcaravaneras, next to the Yacht Club and General Balmes Street, which will take you to Santa Catalina Park, El Muelle Shopping Center, or La Isleta, about a 15-minute walk away. If instead of heading to the coast you decide to venture into the city, a 10-minute walk will take you to Plaza de España, where José Mesa y López Avenue begins, with some of the most exclusive shops. On the other hand, towards the south, you will discover the neighborhood of La Vegueta with its colonial houses, including the supposed residence of Columbus – although in reality, it was owned by the island's governor who would have hosted the famous sailor during his visit to the city.

How to get to our hotel

Near our hotel, there is a bus stop with a connection to Gran Canaria Airport in 45 minutes. If you have a private vehicle, the journey to this airport without traffic is 20 minutes. All you have to do is take the GC-1 until you arrive.

From Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria, it is a 50-minute drive to our Hotel in the center of the capital. The route for private transport is the GC-1, while if you travel by bus you should take number 91 (it will take approximately 1 hour).

The nearest port is La Luz, which is only 1.3 kilometers away.
