Silken Rona Dalba

Hotel in Salamanca city center

In the Plaza San Juan Bautista de Barbalos

One of the best qualities of our hotel in Salamanca is its central location. It is situated in a beautiful little square presided over by a charming 12th-century church, very close to the city's leisure area, where bars, taverns, and restaurants gather around.

In a pleasant walk of less than 5 minutes, you reach the heart of Salamanca, represented by the Plaza Mayor, the nerve center of tourism par excellence. From there, walking towards the Tormes River to the south, you will find some of the most important points of interest in the Salamanca capital.

Access to the hotel is also simple, as it is a small city that does not accumulate excessive traffic. The entrances are clear, and leaving the car in such a central area will not be a problem thanks to the parking we have arranged just 20 meters from the door. Sleeping in Salamanca city center will seem like a dream come true.

Hotel near the Plaza Mayor of Salamanca
From our hotel in Salamanca city center, you will reach the following points of interest on foot in a few minutes: the famous Plaza Mayor of Salamanca, the Clerecía (church of the Pontifical University of Salamanca), the spectacular manor house known as Casa de las Conchas (legend has it that one of the more than 300 shells hanging from the facade of this mansion houses a gold coin inside), the University of Salamanca (the oldest of all the Hispanic universities, dated in the 13th century, with a singular frog on its facade; it is said that whoever manages to see it will have luck in exams. It is not an easy task to find it), the two cathedrals (the Old and the New), the Casa Lis, the Convent of San Esteban, and a myriad of other beautiful places that we invite you to discover by visiting this unique city.

From Madrid
You will see that as you approach Salamanca, you will have to cross the Tormes River. Do so via the Sánchez Fabrés Bridge (the fourth, including the pedestrian Roman Bridge). Once you have crossed the river, use the roundabout to head towards the avenue on the left. You will be on Paseo de San Vicente. You will pass in front of the Hospitals. Continuing along this Paseo, you will see it changes its name to Paseo de Carmelitas. Look for Calle Condes de Crespo Rascón on your right; take it and follow it straight until you are forced to turn right and reach Plaza de la Fuente. Here, turn right onto a narrow street and you will arrive at Plaza de San Juan Bautista, where the Silken Rona Dalba is located.

From Valladolid
You will arrive at Plaza de Toros. You will see that from here an Avenue leads towards the center of Salamanca. Follow it straight. You are on Paseo de Torres Villarroel, and after crossing Paseo de Portugal, it becomes c/Álvaro Gil. Continue straight and cross Avda. Italia. Continue straight and you will see you reach Paseo Carmelitas, perpendicular to the street you are on. You will need to cross it to take C/Condes de Crespo Rascón. Take it and follow it straight until you are forced to turn right and reach Plaza de la Fuente. Here, turn right onto a narrow street and you will arrive at Plaza de San Juan Bautista, where the hotel is located.
