Our hotel is located in a privileged area of the city, since it is a mere 5-minute walk from the old quarter and its magnificent Cathedral, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. It is situated beside the Arlazón river, near the Plaza del Mío Cid, where the splendid and romantic tree-lined avenue known as Paseo del Espolón begins. A 5-minute walk along this avenue will take you to the Arco de Santa María, which leads to the spectacular Cathedral, with its notable Cappella del Conestabile.
From our hotel in Burgos you can also walk to the Museum of Human Evolution in 2 minutes; the Convention Centre, the Auditorium and the Plaza de la Libertad –which contains the Casa del Cordón- in 3; the Monastery of San Juan in 4; the Plaza Mayor, where the City Council is located and the Plaza de España in 5, while a 10-minute walk will take you to the stunning church of San Nicolás and Fuentes Blancas. Other places of interest in the city, which you can access in less than 10 minutes by car, are the Castle of Burgos and the Monastery of Miraflores, among others.
