Samil Beach is the family-friendly and most famous beach in the province of Vigo, more than a kilometer wide. It is very close to the city center and connected by public transport.
It is the liveliest beach throughout the year, as its huge sandy area is complemented by its facilities: three swimming pools, basketball courts, a skating rink, free parking, restaurants, cafés, and green areas.
The beach offers free parking, and in 15 minutes by car, you can be at Samil Beach. If you go by bike around the coast of the city of Vigo, it will take about 30 minutes, and you will also be exercising. Getting there by public transport is more complicated, as it is not very well connected and buses only run in the summer.

From Madrid or Vitoria
To reach the center of Vigo from Madrid, first use the A-6 and then connect with the A-52. From Vitoria, you directly take the A-52, the Rías Bajas highway that connects Galicia with Castilla y León, connecting with the A-6, originating in Madrid.
If you arrive at the hotel from Vigo airport, you have two options. Either take a taxi which would have a journey of 13.5km, about 17 minutes. Or arrive by public transport with bus line 9A, which has multiple stops in the city and several very close to the hotel.
The high-speed train station is Vigo Urzáiz, while the one offering long and medium distance services is Vigo-Guixar station. Both stations are a 10-minute walk from our hotel.
The Port of Vigo is only 6.5 km away. The fastest option is by taxi, which takes approximately 15 minutes.
