The international grassroots football tournament Oviedo Cup 2021 takes place during Holy Week in Oviedo. It is aimed at teams and federated player selections. It begins on March 29 with the official presentation of the tournament and ends on Sunday, April 4 with the trophy ceremony and closing ceremony. It is the opportunity for these kids to feel like real professional footballers. There are more than 7,500 participants from around the world, divided into 390 teams and 10 categories. Normally, 1,000 matches are played on the 23 football fields available in the region, and the attendance of thousands of spectators is expected. However, due to the situation generated by the pandemic, we are awaiting confirmation of the allowed capacity at each match.

The Preliminary Phase is played in a round‑robin format (groups of 4‑5 teams), with each team playing one match against each opponent. The Final Phase is divided as follows:

Monday, March 29 — Official Presentation to the 2021 Tournament media.
Wednesday, March 31 — Arrival of participating teams, hotel check‑in, accreditation delivery, and exciting start of the competition.
Thursday, April 1 and Friday, April 2 — Group Stage matches of Oviedo Cup 2021.
Saturday, April 3 — Final Phase matches start: Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
Sunday, April 4 — Morning finals for Benjamín, Alevín, Infantil, Cadete, and Juvenil categories with respective trophy presentations; in the afternoon, Prebenjamín finals, trophy presentation, and closing ceremony.
Prices and Rates for Oviedo Cup 2021
Team registration is free, while participants with accommodation will pay according to the type of accommodation they choose. This includes the participation fee plus:
4 nights/5 days of accommodation, in the chosen option, on a Full Board basis.
Entry: Wednesday, April 8, 2020. First included service: dinner.
Departure: Sunday, April 12, 2020. Last included service: breakfast + picnic lunch bag.
Participants without accommodation in Sub‑10, Sub‑9, and Sub‑8: €60 per player; the rest of the categories: €110 per player. At the ticket office you can buy your single ticket valid for all matches of the day: €5. Under‑18s enter FREE.
