This year marks the celebration of the 15th National Congress of Surgical Nursing, held from Monday April 12 to Thursday April 16 under the slogan “Human Evolution from a Nursing R‑Evolution.” The Board of Directors of the Spanish Association of Surgical Nursing (AEEQ) and the Organizing and Scientific Committees have decided to hold this edition online in view of the uncertainty caused by COVID‑19. Sessions and events have been organized in the afternoon, adding an extra day to what was previously planned to encourage broad participation. All content will be delivered through round tables, lectures, workshops, symposia, theoretical‑practical sessions, and video‑technical presentations. The new theme area of the congress is “Surgical Nursing in the Face of COVID‑19.” Due to events of the past year, the content will be updated with the experiences of surgical nurses who have cared for patients affected by the coronavirus. The role of nurses in developing clinical training and management tools has been key to fostering professional and personal evolution. The deadline to update and submit new works is February 28, 2021, and the deadline for the surgical photography contest is March 28, 2021.

Monday, April 12: program begins at 16:00 and ends at 21:15.
April 13 and 14: sessions start at 16:00 and finish at 20:30.
Thursday, April 15: the congress starts at 16:00, and the closing ceremony and awards presentation take place at 20:15.
