The best things to do in Ochagavía
If you're in Ochagavía for a few days, we recommend that you visit the Muskilda Sanctuary, a beautiful Romanesque hermitage located at the highest point of a mountain of the same name, with the Abodi mountain range in the background. You can also take a walk along the Zatoia and Anduña rivers, which meet at this point, walking through the limits of the town or venturing out on a hiking trail. It is worth visiting the Medieval stone bridge that crosses the Anduña, another of the things to see in Ochagavía.
History buffs should visit some of the town's emblematic houses, especially the Medieval palaces of Urrutia, Iriarte and Donamaría, and emblazoned houses from the 18th and 19th centuries. Don't miss the San Juan Evangelista Church, a monumental work with remains from the Middle Ages, around the year 1200, which has Renaissance altarpieces from the 16th century.

Ochagavía is said to be the gateway to the Irati Forest, a magical place and one of the most beautiful areas of the Navarre Pyrenees.
