The Silken Villa de Laguardia Hotel is nestled in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa and is where we've created the exclusive Wine Oil Spa, a distinct health and beauty centre spanning almost 1000 square metres. The centre is divided into two different spaces: a diverse spa area and another zone for body and facial treatments. Spa diversification

This area is dedicated to a comprehensive, diverse range of spa options where an autochthonous Arróniz olive tree, surrounded by a foot bath inset in a half barrel, presides over our thermal circuit, which includes a large winepress where you will find different contrast showers. The spa also has a Finnish sauna, Turkish bath and ice fountain to complement this space, which is designed to tone the body, activate the circulatory system and relax the mind. The original curved swimming pool offers different treatments based on water jets, water beds, swan neck jets, geysers, hydromassage beds and cold water pools with the aim of ensuring visitors achieve an optimal state of well-being thanks to the therapeutic effect of these distinct techniques. An infusion or mineral tea in the relaxation area, with comfortable loungers, provides the cherry on top.

A unique, hemispherical cupola covers the more than 200 external square metres of the thermal circuit, allowing guests to enjoy the outdoors and the night chromotherapy system.

Body and facial treatments

We have 15 themed treatment rooms for body and facial treatments as well as extremely varied hydrotherapy techniques. This is a modern, innovative centre that specialises in applying natural treatments with denomination of origin products, some of which are based on wine and olive oil from the Rioja Alavesa, the region's hallmarks, extracting their renowned qualities to care for the body and mind. Wine Oil Spa creates new à la carte experiences by making full use of the cosmetic properties of regional products to offer a wide selection of innovative treatments. Chestnuts, blackthorns, truffles from the Montaña Alavesa and aromatic plants from the region (such as thyme, lavender and rosemary, among others) are the stars of these treatments. If the booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before the treatment start date, the session must be paid for in full.

Bookings

We recommend booking an appointment. Otherwise, bookings cannot be guaranteed.

Please arrive for your appointment 10 minutes beforehand.

Treatment times must be respected. If the client is late or does not show, any treatments not enjoyed or enjoyed for less time must be paid in full and may not be postponed to a later date.

To ensure your safety and well-being during your visit to the spa, we'll provide you with the centre's rules before you enter.

INTERNAL RULES OF THE WINE OIL SPA

THE SPA IS A PLACE OF RELAXATION, PEACE AND QUIET. SILENCE PLEASE.

• Users will be responsible for the wear and tear or damage caused to the facilities if they misuse them.
• Users must be respectful of others and refrain from causing harm.
• Bathers will only use the areas set aside for them, using the specific access points.
• Diving and jumping into the pool is strictly prohibited.
• Users must always follow the indications of spa staff.
• Users may not change their clothing in any place other than the changing rooms.
• Users must shower before accessing the hydrothermal circuit.
• A swimming cap must be used in the swimming pool but may be removed in the thermal and relaxation areas.
• Smoking, eating and drinking alcoholic drinks are not permitted in the facilities.
• The use of sound devices, such as radios, MP3 players, etc. is prohibited.
• Photography is prohibited.
• Bathers should respect the waiting period after meals and before bathing.
• Users must use a towel and flip flops in the changing rooms, saunas and communal areas.
• We recommend that users do not access the facilities with valuable personal belongings, such as watches, jewellery, etc. The company will not be responsible for any lost or damaged items. There are lockers with a key available to users so they may store their personal belongings.
• Raising your voice and shouting is prohibited in the facilities.
• Minors under 12 years old may not access the facilities.
• People with serious dermatological issues may not access the swimming pool.
• Maximum capacity of spa pool: 30 people.
• Failure to observe these rules may result in the user being ejected immediately from the facilities.
