INTERGIFT 2020: Gift and Decoration Fair at IFEMA, Madrid

Because more and more of us are paying greater attention to home details, decoration and interior design are gaining followers as events dedicated to the sector also increase. That is why, once again, the Gift and Decoration Fair returns to Madrid with very good attendance forecasts. In this article, we tell you all the information you need to know about INTERGIFT 2020: dates, program, spaces, where to stay…

What is it?

INTERGIFT is an event aimed at professionals in the gift and decoration industry: marketing specialists, salespeople, purchasing department staff, executives... There have already been 77 consecutive editions.

Dates and schedules

With the aim of presenting professionals with the latest products for the spring/summer and Christmas and Epiphany campaigns, INTERGIFT holds two annual events: one in February and another in September. These are the confirmed dates for 2020:

  • From Wednesday, February 2 to Saturday, February 9, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the last day (except Pavilion 1, which will close at 3 p.m.).

Program and spaces

The five pavilions of this professional fair host more than 160 products.

  • Pavilion 5. Interior design and textiles: Fabrics, curtains, rugs… All the essential textiles to turn a house into a home.
  • Pavilion 3. Indoor and outdoor furniture and lighting: Essential to explore the latest trends.
  • Pavilion 7. Deco sector: All the essential accessories to achieve a unique atmosphere: artificial plants, candles, tableware, bathroom and kitchen items, hammocks, vases, toys, or Christmas decorations, among others.
  • Pavilion 6. Gifts and crafts: Gifts in their most diverse forms also occupy a large exhibition space in Pavilion Six. From party or wedding items to educational toys, visitors can find any kind of unique gadget suitable for gifting. And since the event could not ignore the Do It Yourself or DIY trend that has recently entered all homes strongly, another sector dedicates its space both to traditional crafts and to the designs of the maker phenomenon, which use technology to advocate the creation of objects manually. Finally, bargain and discount lovers have their mandatory stop at the fair’s bazaar, a space where seasonal items can be found at the most economical prices.

Jewelry and accessories, a multisector fair

At these events, the most urban accessories take center stage with the exhibition of the latest jewelry and costume jewelry trends to prepare for the autumn and winter season.
