UEFA EURO 2021 returns this year, after it was canceled in 2020, which would have marked its 60th anniversary. The Euro will no longer be held in Bilbao; instead, UEFA has moved the Spanish venue to Seville. Thus, the Andalusian capital becomes one of the 11 European host cities for the popular football tournament.
Here is all the information you need about Euro 2021.
Seville and La Cartuja, the perfect venue for Euro 2021
For the first time, the European Championship will be held in multiple European cities, specifically in 11 venues: Seville, London, Munich, Rome, Baku, St. Petersburg, Bucharest, Budapest, Amsterdam, Glasgow, and Copenhagen. In this regard, UEFA reiterated its commitment to maintain the venues chosen last year, and each of them must have a minimum of 25% capacity, adapting to the safety restrictions and measures arising from the pandemic.
After there was no agreement between the Basque government and UEFA, Bilbao will no longer be a host city for UEFA Euro 2021. Instead, Seville has been chosen as one of the host cities for Euro 2021. Its iconic La Cartuja Stadium, located on the eponymous island, will host 3 group-stage matches as well as one of the round-of-16 games.
The Andalusian capital will see Spain play in the Euro 2021 against Sweden, Poland, and Slovakia, the teams that make up Group E of this year’s tournament.
Euro 2021 Dates and Tickets in Seville
EURO 2021 will take place from June 11 to July 11. The final will be held as usual at Wembley Stadium in the UK on the last day.

Euro 2021 Updates

Additionally, this edition will commemorate the 60th anniversary of the tournament. This significant milestone is the reason for holding Euro 2021 in 12 major venues across Europe.
