Well positioned, with excellent staff and cat friendly, we would stay again. There was, however , a deal of noise from the inner courtyard on the night we stayed, 16.12.2010, which was a touch intrusive, tho' we had gone to bed early as we'd been on the road all day.

If arriving by car on the Madrid motorway, follow these instructions:

As you approach Salamanca you have to cross the River Tormes by the Sánchez Fabrés bridge, the fourth bridge you come to, including the now-pedestrianised Roman Bridge. After crossing the river, enter the roundabout and turn left into Paseo de San Vicente, and continue past the Hospitals. The street then changes its name to Paseo de Carmelitas. Turn right down Calle Condes de Crespo Rascón, go on until you have to veer right to enter the Plaza de la Fuente. Here, turn right along a narrow street and continue to Plaza de San Juan Bautiosta and… Welcome to the Hotel Silken Rona Dalba!

If arriving by road from Valladolid, follow these instructions:

Drive as far as the Plaza de Toros. From here, take the road signed for the centre of Salamanca to Paseo de Torres Villarroel. Continue down this road until you cross a major road, the Paseo de Portugal. Go straight on along the Paseo de Torres Villarroel, which changes its name to C/ Alvaro Gil. Cross Avda. Italia and continue to Paseo Carmelitas, parallel to C/ Alvaro Gil. Cross this street into C/ Condes de Crespo Rascón. Go straight on until you have to veer right to enter the Plaza de la Fuente. Here, turn right along a narrow street and continue to Plaza de San Juan Bautiosta and… Welcome to the Hotel Silken Rona Dalba!
