Right from the start, the firm of Victor, José Víctor Rodríguez Caro, and Lucchino, José Luís Medina del Corral, infused their creations with their unique and original but undeniably Andalusian style. Victorio & Lucchino began their career in the fashion world in the late the 1970s, in the Spanish city of Seville. By 1985, their overwhelming success led them to create their first fashion collection and present it at a New York show. With the inauguration of the Cibeles in Madrid they begin to show two Prêt-á-Porter collections every year. In 1984, they decided to create their first collection of wedding dresses and present it in Barcelona, becoming pioneers in the sector. In parallel, for the last two seasons they have been showing their collections of Gypsy costumes in the birthplace of Velázquez in Seville, infusing them with their purest artistry. After fulfilling their goals in the fashion and accessory world, they have gone on to open new doors to other markets. This has included the launching in 1992 of “Carmen”, their first perfume for women, and a recent agreement to design jewellery. Their art has also been reflected in the theatre and the big screen in the works “Yerma” and “La Celestina”, and the film “El Guardaespaldas”. In the field of interior decoration, they have fitted out an entire floor of suites in the Silken Al-Andaluz Hotel in Seville.
