Silken Gran Hotel Havana offers a meeting point in the center of Barcelona, enjoying the best live music. A regular program of live music from Jazz, Swing and Blues every Friday and Saturday from 19:30 to 9:15 p.m.. And a restaurant with a magnificent spectacle tasting dinner followed by a concert on the first Thursday of each month.
Silken Gran Hotel Havana has a clear jazz since its inception. In 1995 he organized the first edition of Sopar & Blues, created to stop giving personality to the Hotel and open to the citizens of Barcelona.
This initiative has been offered continuously since then, but from 2008 the formula was improved, offering diverse programming to encompass different styles of Jazz, Blues, Swing, Dixieland, within the original idea.
In its halls, regular training Sopar & Blues, Sust & August Txell Tharrats Trio, recorded two albums live. The first album “Gran Hotel Havana” and the second “NON STOP” in 2003. During 2011 was recorded the third album “JAZZ CORNER” which collects a sample of the regular contributors Delgren Hotel Havana: Josep M Farras, Joan Chamorro, Ignasi Terraza, Artur, watered, the brothers Doors, Ricard Gili, Oscar Font, between others.
