Zaragoza is the capital of the autonomous community of Aragón. It is Spain’s fifth largest, and most populated, city. Zaragoza’s excellent geographical locations (the city is located about 300 km from the main Spanish cities: Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao, and 200 km from the French border) makes it into one of Spain’s main logistics and communications hubs.
How to get to Zaragoza
Zaragoza has excellent transport systems to make getting to the city easy:
The airport is just 10 km from the city centre and is easily accessible by taxi (for between 20-30) or by bus (every 30 minutes for 1.60) that connects the airport with the central Puerta del Carmen.
The AVE (high speed train) connects Madrid and Barcelona with Zaragoza’s Delicias station in just 90 minutes.
Dual carriageways and highways connect Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao with Zaragoza.
How to get around Zaragoza
Zaragoza has an impressive urban transport network that connects the entire city:
City buses (TUZSA) run throughout the city.
The tram, inaugurated in 2011, also runs through the city’s historic and commercial centre.
